Our Story

We started as a group of women working in the housing sector. Seeing the barriers women faced in finding and keeping a safe home, we knew something had to change.

The Women’s Housing Forum was created to challenge these inequalities and push for real change. Our goal is to influence housing providers to better meet the specific needs of women.

We want the Forum to be a space where everyone concerned about women’s housing has an equal voice and can work together to tackle these issues.

Steering group members

Our steering group brings together residents and women working across different sectors.

The National Housing Federation, Women’s Pioneer Housing, Housing for Women, and other members provide practical and administrative support to help drive our work forward.

Steering group members advocate for the Forum, working with key partners to advance our goals and make a lasting impact.
